NFF commences with Second Phase of CAF C-License Course

Thirty women coaches have advanced to the second phase of the CAF C-License Coaching Course in Abuja.

This three-module program began last month at the NFF/FIFA Technical Centre and is aimed at improving women’s coaching skills across the country.

After completing the first module, held from July 15 to 25, and a two-week internship, the coaches resumed the second module on Monday.

NFF Technical Director Augustine Eguavoen praised the participants’ discipline and dedication to the course.

“The second module started on Monday, and we are generally impressed by the discipline, dedication, and commitment of the coaches,” Eguavoen said.

The second module will run until August 16 and will be followed by another two-week internship. The third module, including final exams, is scheduled for September 9 to 19.

Among the 30 participants are former Super Falcons stars such as Precious Dede, Joy Jegede, and Cecilia Nku, as well as other prominent figures like Barr. Victoria Nlemigbo and retired FIFA referee Folusho Ajayi.

The course is facilitated by notable educators, including NFF’s Head of Education, Dr. Terry Eguaoje, and experienced coaches like Isah Ladan Bosso and Wemimo Olanrewaju.
