NFF Advertises Super Eagles head coach Position, Eaglets’ too

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has declared the Super Eagles and Golden Eaglets (U17 boys) head Coach positions vacant.

There were speculations that Jose Peseiro would be offered another contract to continue on the job.

Meanwhile, the NFF has not released any statement regarding the exit of the Portuguese whose social media post has now confirmed his exit as Super Eagles head coach.

Another role that has been declared vacant is that of the under-17 national team; Golden Eaglets.

There had been suggestions that the NFF would replace Nduka Ugbade after Nigeria’s poor campaign at last year’s Africa U-17 Cup of Nations, where the team was eliminated in the quarter-finals by Burkina Faso.

For the Super Eagles head coach role, applicants must have relevant coaching qualifications for the job, proven experience at elite level of football management, a successful track record in leading teams while the knowledge of African football will be an added advantage.

While for the role of the U17 head coach, the candidates must possess a CAF B license coaching certificate.

The deadline for all applications have also been set to be by 6pm on Tuesday, March 12.
