Former Nigerian international, who is presently the coach of the champions of Albania professional league, Ndubuisi Egbo has stated that playing football in the stadium without the fans is like a training session.
Egbo is Perturbed by the fact that football competition is ongoing without the fans which look so porous in the stadium and it is also affecting the glamour and the competitive nature of the game.
While speaking exclusively with brila.net he stated that football matches are becoming a friendly game now or games played between teams (training) saying the covid has done a lot of damages to the supporting side of football (the fans).
“Now football matches are becoming like friendly games or games you played between your selves in your team, I think covid 19 has done a lot of damages to the side of the supporting fans of football which is why the game is being played.”
“Football without the fans in the stadium won’t be football anymore, it will continue as a training session and becomes difficult, once a team concedes a goal the other team can be able to manage and take it to the end.”
