Recuperating Leicester City Midfielder Wilfred Ndidi who did not feature against England at Wembley is now set to make his return from injury against The Czech Republic on Wednesday.
Ndidi suffered a hamstring injury in Leicester City’s tie with Crystal Palace on April 28, which saw him miss the rest of the 2017/2018 Premier League season.
The former Genk midfielder also missed Nigeria’s friendlies against Congo DR.
However, Eagles coach Gernot Rohr has said Ndidi will now start against the Czech Republic on Wednesday in a final warm-up game leading up to the World Cup in Russia.
“We need but we have an agreement with Leicester City and (the England game) was not the time for him to return (to action).
“We followed exactly the programme Leicester gave us.
“But he will start next game against the Czech Republic, and I hope if he played, he will be fit on June 16 (World Cup Group D match vs Croatia).”
