Ndidi returns, as Iheanacho continues good outing for Leicester

The Nigerian duo of Kelechi Ihenacho and Wilfred Ndidi were in action for Leicester City in their FA Cup win over local rivals Birmingham City on Wednesday.

The players distinguished themselves as the Foxes matched on through a Ricardo Pereira second half goal at the Kingpower stadium.

While Wilfred Ndidi was making his first start in a month following a knee injury,  Iheanacho was handed a starter’s shirt in place of injured Jamie Vardy.

They dominated with 76.7% of the ball, although and Kelechi Iheanacho had a goal rightly ruled out for offside as he raced on to Maddison’s through ball before rounding Camp to score.

Ndidi was later replaced in the second half by Hamza choudhury as the Foxes set a quarter final meeting with Chelsea.
