Ndidi Not Giving Up On 2026 World Cup Ticket

Super Eagles midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi says the team can still qualifying for the 2026 FIFA World Cup despite their winless run in the qualifiers.

Nigeria is without a win after three matches, drawing Lesotho, Zimbabwe and South Africa.

Friday’s result against Bafana Bafana saw the Super Eagles dropped to fifth on the table with only three points.

With five games remaining, Ndidi said the team can then turn things around and qualify for the tournament.

“The group is still wide open, we still have a chance (to qualify),” he said after the game.

“We hope to get something in the second game,” he assured ahead of Monday’s game against Benin Republic in Cote d’Ivoire
