Leicester City duo of Wilfred Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho are set to start for Leicester City tonight as the foxes take on Manchester United in the EPL Opening fixture.
Iheanacho was Leicester’s brightest star during Pre-season after bagging four goals in three Matches on his return from the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.
The Super Eagles forward has gotten the backing of Manager Claude Puel to step in directly into departed Riyad Mahrez’s shoe after an outstanding pre-season.
Meanwhile, Wilfred Ndidi is also going to start against United having made himself a force to reckon with in Leicester’s Midfield, being one of the few regular starters at the Midland Club.
The Premier League curtain-raiser against United is expected to mark the debuts of the Foxes other major signings of the summer in Jonny Evans and James Maddison with both having recovered from injury.
Leicester winger Demarai Gray is also expected to be fit but there are doubts about Ricardo Pereira and Rachid Ghezzal with game-time decisions to be made on both.
