Wilfred Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho endured a difficult night as Leicester City fell like a pack of cards in their second Premier League game of the season against West Ham United on Monday.
The Super Eagles Stars saw action, but couldn’t save their team from an embarrassing 4-1 defeat against the inspired Hammers at the Olympics Stadium.
Ndidi started the match and lasted for the entire duration, while Kelechi Iheanacho was introduced for Jamie Vardy in the 81st minutes.
Ndidi had a very poor game by his standard and was guilty of losing his markers several times.
He struggled to cope with the dynamism of Michail Antonio and he also failed to track Pablo Fornals movement, before he opened the scoring for the David Moyes side.
Pablo Fornals opened the scoring in the 26th minute from a one-two with Said Benrahma.
Leicester City made life difficult for themselves after midfielder Ayoze Perez was shown a straight red for dangerous play in the 40th minute.
West Ham doubled their lead five minutes after the interval when Said Benrahma converted a nice pass from Michail Antonio.
Youri Tielemans reduced the deficit for the Foxes with twenty minutes left to play, but a late brace from Michail Antonio put the game beyond their reach.
