Nigerian internationals Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfred Ndidi were in action for Leicester City against Aston Villa in an English premier league game on Monday.
Both players were handed starting role and gave good account if themselves, as Leicester scored four and conceded none at the Kingpower stadium on Monday.
However both Super Eagles stars didn’t complete the game, Kelechi Iheanacho was replaced by Jamie Vardy after lasting an hour on the pitch.
Ndidi who was also instrumental in the team’s clean sheet left the pitch with nine minutes to the end of game and was Nampalys Mendy who took his place.
Brace from Harvey Barnes and substituted Jamie Vardy was enough to hand the Brenda Rodgers men a comfortable win and strengthened their hope for Champions league qualification next season.
The Foxes remains third on the log with 53 points from 29 matches.
