Wilfred Ndidi put in another impressive performance for Leicester City in the UEFA Champions League quarter-final despite their 1-0 defeat to Atletico Madrid on Wednesday night at the Estadio Vicente Calderón.
On a busy night inside the Calderon, Ndidi put in an above average performance despite Atletico Madrid dictating play in every department on the field.
Nonetheless, the 20-year-old midfielder can take some positives from Wednesday’s encounter Leicester ensured they kept the result respectable.
Antionne Griezmann scored the only goal of the match; converting from the penalty spot in the 28th minute.
Ndidi has established himself as a regular and is expected to be crucial in the second-leg of the UCL quarter-final against last season’s finalists.
