National team players will be protected from the ongoing leadership imbroglio in the Nigeria Basketball Federation (NBBF) according to the President, Musa Kida.
Kida and other basketball stakeholders received a fact-finding delegation from world governing body FIBA in a bid to find a lasting solution to the NBBF split.
Having oversaw Nigeria’s participation in the Men and Women’s AfroBasket Championship as well as the Club tournaments, the Federation Chief expressed optimism that forthcoming competitions will get equal support.
