Vice President of the Nigeria Basketball Federation NBBF Babs Ogunade has revealed that the board of the NBBF will in the coming days be meeting in Abuja to discuss on plans and program for the 2019 FIBA world cup in China.
Ogunade speaking in a chat with www.brila.net said deliberation will center on determining a campsite for the D’Tigers, checking out available and eligible players for Nigeria as well as determining possible friendlies that could be lined up for the team.
“There will be a board meeting in a couple of days in Abuja. The board will meet to make decisions about Nigeria’s participation at the world cup.”
The Nigeria men basketball national team D’Tigers are drawn in the same group with Russia, Argentina, and South Korea at the world cup this summer.
