“What animal/thing flies at the same altitude as a plane and can cause this???” tweeted Oklahoma City Thunder’s Spanish player Álex Abrines after the NBA team’s plane suffered major damage in mid-air on Friday night.
The plane’s nose was left completely caved in after an apparent collision with an as yet unidentified object as Oklahoma flew to Chicago following their defeat to Minnesota Timberwolves.

No-one was hurt in the incident, which is understood to have occurred at around 30,000 feet.
