Nasarawa United attacker Chinedu Ohanachom says he’s confident they will approach the forthcoming fixtures with full confidence after ending their bad run of results.
Nasarawa United secured their first league win last Sunday against Akwa United after losing last three previous games.
Ohanachom assisted the first goal scored by Adamu Hassan in the 56th minute, before Ebuka Anaekwe’s added time strike, after Ndifreke Effiong restored parity for visitors.
Ohanachom told brila.net that the result is the most important thing, especially when a team comes from three defeats.
” I’m very happy that we won and we are back to winning ways,” the Striker said.
” It’s a pleasure to help with an assist but the most important thing is the three points.
” Akwa United is a difficult team to play and it was one of the game we have to win, if we want to regain our confidence.
“Going forward, we have to build on it and go for another win in next game and remain consistent .” He told brila.net.
Nasarawa United will play Jigawa Golden Stars, FC Ifeanyi Ubah and MFM FC, Ohanachom believes they can pick positive results from the games.
