Nasarawa United midfielder Ikenna Offor said the club has to put Sunday’s disappointing defeat to Jigawa Golden Stars behind them and focus on the task at hand.
The Solid Miners slipped to 1 – 0 defeat against Jigawa Golden Stars, despite dominating for most part of the match at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium; their fourth in last five games and they have slipped down the table as a result.
However the Solid Miners will be aiming to return to winning ways as they host strugglers FC Ifeanyi Ubah in match day 12 clash this Wednesday.
Speaking ahead of the match, Offor said the Solid Miners have to put the defeat behind in order to avoid distraction against FC Ifeanyi.
The midfielder assured their fans that, the Anambra Warriors won’t leave Lafia Township Stadium with a point.
“It was a disappointing defeat against Jigawa Golden Stars , but I’m confident we will get the maximum points against FC Ifeanyi Ubah,” he said in a chat with brila.net
