Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen is expected to sign a new with SS Napoli, but the club is not ruling out the possibility of cashing in on the forward.

According to Napoli President, Aurelio De Laurentiis, the player is happy at the club and will commit himself to a new deal, as he provided updates on the Forward’s future at the club.

The Nigerian international has two years left on his current deal with the Partenopei and has attracted interests from several clubs across Europe.

De Laurentiis however revealed both parties have agreed on a two-year extension, although he refused to rule out selling the striker, if he receives a lucrative offer.

“I have said for a while that Osimhen has to stay. Then, if an offer came in that I could not refuse for the good of Napoli, then we would consider it, as is only natural,” Laurentiis said at the presentation press conference for new coach Rudi Garcia.

“We already talked to Osimhen before the Scudetto celebration, so we already have a basic agreement on a two-year extension of his contract.”

Osimhen guided Napoli to first Scudetto in 33 years, netting 26 goals in 32 matches.
