Napoli director Giovanni Manna has confirmed that Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen remains an integral part of the squad despite ongoing transfer rumors.

Reports had linked Osimhen with a move to Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) and was in the verge of finalizing but the deal stalled.

Speculation about Osimhen’s departure has intensified, especially with new Napoli manager Antonio Conte reportedly eyeing Chelsea’s Romelu Lukaku. However, in a recent interview, Manna reassured fans about the team’s attacking options.

“We are united and committed to building something new with important values. With Osimhen, Giovanni Simeone, and Walid Cheddira in attack, we are well-covered. The transfer market is still open for 30 days, and we will make our evaluations accordingly,” Manna said.

“This is a project starting this year with the coach at its center. We share a strategy with the club and will make decisions that align with our technical and tactical ideas, without any reckless moves.”

For now, Osimhen remains a key player for Napoli as they prepare for the upcoming season.
