Super Eagles’ defender, Jamilu Collins is back in training after almost nine months out with injury.
Collins damaged his anterior cruciate ligament while playing for Cardiff City, and hasn’t played for club and country since August 2022.
The left back is now back, working at the Cardiff City Training Ground in Cardiff, ready to return to the round leather game.
“I have never suffered any injury since I started playing football professionally, and to go through nine months without football. It was a torrid period for me,” the LB told thenff.com.
Speaking further, Collins explained that it was like getting a new “knee” literally.
“The ACL injury experience was terrible and when treatment started it was like I got a new knee,” he said.
