Former Super Eagles defender and ex-international, Pastor Taribo West has called on Super Eagles vice-captain, Ahmed Musa to step up and use his experience to help Nigeria get past Cameroun in the Eagles round of 16 clash at the ongoing Egypt 2019 AFCON.
Speaking to www.brila.net, the former Inter and AC Milan player added that Musa’s speed down the right hand side, coupled with his aggressive nature on the ball would be key to helping Nigeria progress to the quarterfinals and would surely cause problems for the defense of coach Clarence Seedorf’s men
“Collectively, they play well. They play in oneness and they are very strong”.
“Am not expecting magic, but I think Musa should come in more in this match. Nigeria should be able to use his speed down the right-hand side as well as his aggressive nature on the ball”.
“He can use his qualities to help support the strikers upfront”.
