Nigeria’s Moses Simon showcased his skills on Saturday night as Nantes secured a 1-0 victory against Lorient at the Stade du Moustoir.

The decisive moment came four minutes into the second half when Simon assisted Cameroon international, Jean-Charles Castelleto securing the winning goal.

This marked the Nigerian’s fifth assist in the current French top-flight season.

Having made 19 league appearances for the Canaries, the 28-year-old has not only been a provider but also found the back of the net three times.

His impactful contribution was acknowledged as he made way for Benie Traore in the 68th minute.

Looking ahead, Nantes is set to face Metz in their upcoming league clash scheduled for Sunday, March 3.
