Moses Simon has pledged his ‘totally commitment’ to helping FC Nantes improve their position on French Ligue 1 table.
Simon signed a new contract with the struggling side this season, bringing an end to the speculations about his future.
The Canaries have had troubles winning games recently and are just four points outside the relegation zone.
He attracted offers from OGC Nice and Lyon before pening the new two-year deal.
Speaking about the contract the Nigerian expressed his delight to continue with Nantes and he’s confident the club will overcome the bad time.
“I am ready to continue fighting to help the team go as high as possible. What is certain is that this contract extension is a real proof of confidence in the club, as well as in the team.”
Meanwhile, Moses Simon is among the moninees for Nantes’ Player of the Month award for the month of December.
Moses Simon had a good run in December, starting all Nantes’ four league matches. The others nominated for the award are; Alban Lafont, Jean-Charles Castelleto and Florent Mollet.
