Super Eagles dazzler Moses Simon started the season on a positive note as he bagged an assist for Nantes to help them to secure a vital away point against AS Monaco on Friday.
Moses started the game for the Antoine Kombouare side, and he was vital to their attacking play all night.
Moses Simon was paired in the attack with Kolo Muani and Ludovic Blas and they created numerous chances, unfortunately, poor finishing let them down.
After a bright start to the game, Nantes fell behind in the 14th minute as Portuguese forward Gelson Martins found the target for Monaco.
Nantes increased their search for the leveler and it finally arrived three minutes before halftime when they were Simon Moses laid a pass to Jean-Charles Castelletto to equalize.
Both teams however failed to score the winner in the second half as the match ended 1-1.
