Sunday Oliseh has confirmed his son, Denzel, will represent Nigeria in future, despite his frosty relationship with the Nigeria Football Federation.
Oliseh, former Nigeria NT captain, was famously dropped from the 2002 World Cup squad after falling out with the NFF board and Sports Ministry.
He later returned to manage the team as a coach, but only lasted for few months due to irreconcilable differences with the Amaju Pinnick NFF board.
The former Juventus man however is not bothered about his poor relationship with Nigeria’s football administrators and revealed one of his son, Denzel, will gladly represent the country.
Denzel’s mother, Hafida is half Belgian and half Moroccan, so he’s eligible to represent Nigeria, Morocco and Belgium.
I finally get an opportunity to watch a world cup match (Morocco vs Belgium) with my best friend, wife and mother of my 2 beautiful kids,Hafi. What a joyful moment as Morocco won for Africa. Bravo le Maroc et allez l’Afrique. pic.twitter.com/NN35kRcGYS
