Former Juventus midfielder Mohamed Sissoko has advised the club to sanction the signing of Nigeria forward Victor Osimhen in the summer.
Osimhen enjoyed a brilliant debut season in France after notching 18 goals and five assists in 35 appearances across all competitions for OSC Lille.
The form has seen the 21-year-old become a transfer target for a number of European giants including Barcelona, Real Madrid, Manchester United, and Chelsea.
Speaking in an interview with Tuttojuve, Sissoko admitted he’s been impressed with the qualities of Osimhen while urging his former club to lure him to Turin.
“I really like Victor Osimhen of Lille, for me that boy is very strong,”
“He is a striker that we will continue to talk about in the next few years. While in midfield, I could recommend his teammate Boubakary Soumare.”
Osimhen only linked up with Lille from Belgian Pro League outfit Sporting Charleroi last summer.
