Terem Moffi has finally aught his breathe after a whirlwind international break where the Forward broke his goal duck for the Nigeria – grabbing in a brace in one game.
Moffi hit the double in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match against Sao Tome and Principe on Monday.
It was the first time he’s getting his name on score sheet – and they were highlight pleasers.
He got a rare start in the game and after a slow start, Moffi grabbed his debut international goal in the 43rd minute, from a Victor Osimhen assist by the way.
The 23 year-old showed great feet to sidestep the Sao Tome goalkeeper and couple of defenders before powering home.
Moffi added his second on the hour mark after great work down the left by Zaidu Sanusi.
In tweeted days after the game, reliving those big moments with pictures on his social media account.
