Nigerian striker Silas Nwankwo scored his first goal for Swedish Allsvenskan side Mjallby on Thursday.
The former Nasarawa United forward came off the bench to net the third goal in their 3-0 win over  Sirius at the Strandvallen Stadium.
He replaced Rasmus Wiedesheim-Paul who left the pitch after 26 minutes due to the injury he sustained from bad tackle.
David Löfquist scored the opener from the penalty spot in the added time. Jesper Gustavsson then doubled the advantage two minutes after an hour mark.
Silas Nwankwo sealed the three points with a fine finish in the 79th minute. He set up by Ghananian midfielder Mamudo Moro.
It was his first goal in Allsvenskan since moving from Nasarawa United last summer.
Reacting to his performance, Mjallby wrote on their Twitter page: “Thumps up to Silas Nwankwo for yesterday’s performance”.
The 18-year-old striker made his debut for Mjallby in the 2-0 defeat to Hammarby last week.
He is yet to start a game for Mjallby in the four weeks old Swedish Allsvenskan.
