Former Italian Serie A Champions AC Milan are the latest team to show interest in the service of Super Eagles forward Samuel Chukwueze.
According to Gianluca DiMarzio, Milan have made first contact with Villarreal for the striker who considered one of the best forwards in Spain.
The Rossoneri want to strengthen Stefano Pioli’s offensive department in this summer session, with Zlatan Ibrahimovic now retired.
Real Madrid is the other team linked with the 24-year-old Nigerian international.
The forward enjoyed great 2022-2023 campaign in domestic, Conference League and Copa del Rey, with a total of 12 goals.
He also has 11 assists across all competitions, the first time he’s hitting double figures of goal contribution in his career.
Chukwueze has contract with Villarreal until June 2024 and he is valued around €40m but Milan will try to negotiate a lower fee.
