While Mikel is in London and a doubt for the international friendly against DR Congo – not for fitness reasons – Moses was given an extended rest period following his involvement in Chelsea’s FA Cup match against Man United on Sunday.
In his case, John Ogu played his final game of the season for Hapoel Be’er Sheva earlier in the week and could join the camp before the weekend, after his rest period.
Nigeria will host DR Congo in Uyo on 28 May to wrap up the Uyo phase of the Super Eagles camping for the FIFA World Cup 2018.
