Michael Ohanu is confident that Kwara United will rediscover the form that made them one of the best sides in the first stanza of the 2020-2021 NPFL campaign.
The Harmony Boys slumped to their second defeat in four games after the restart on Sunday when they lost 2-1 to Akwa United.
As a result of the defeat, the Abdullahi Biffo boys have slipped fifth on the table, four points adrift leaders Akwa United and Kano Pillars, although with a game in hand.
Reflecting on their run of results so far, Ohanu who has scored seven goals and provided two assists for the team this season, admitted the team is struggling at the moment, but confident they will hit top gear again.
“It has not been easy for us lately, due to one of two things, however, I’m sure we will turn things around very soon”
“Almost every team will experience some low moments, we aren’t different, but we have to stay together and keep working hard”.
“We are still very close to the top and with a lot to play for, so we just have to stay focus and continue grinding,” he told brila.net.
