MFM FC Vs. Akwa United: We are battle ready – Olatunbosun

MFM FC Forward, Sikiru Olatunbosun has disclosed the readiness of the Olukoya boys to take the very ‘important’ game as a battle.

Olatunbosun made the revelations ahead of the rescheduled weekend game of the NPFL between MFM FC and Akwa United today in Lagos.

In a chat with Brila FM, Olatunbosun stated that they have an unfinished business with the Promise Keepers following the nervy 1-1 draw that played out last season at the Soccer Temple.

The MFM forward added that their visitors would be looking to make amends for the loss in their last game, but the desire to build on what was a good debut on the continent at the weekend would spur them on to get a win.

Meanwhile, Head coach Fidelis Ilechukwu insists his team must beat Akwa United in Friday’s Nigeria Professional Football League rescheduled match day eight fixture to improve their position in the table.

The Olukoya Boys who finished in the second position in the NPFL last season have struggled to replicate such form this time around and are currently 17th in the table.

The Lagos club faces a tough task against the league leaders who are unbeaten in their last three games in the NPFL.
