MFM FC Midfielder Chijioke Akuneto is hopeful Kwara United will do them a favor and shutout Rangers Int’l on Wednesday, when the sides clash in a rescheduled NPFL match in Ilorin.

Rangers are second behind MFM with the sides separated by two points and stand a chance of climbing to the summit of Group A, even with thee games in hand.

In a chat with brila.net Akuneto expressed confidence in Kwara United stunning the Flying Antelopes, who are on a 6 game unbeaten run.

Asked if he thinks Rangers will get a win in Ilorin, Akuneto said: ‘It’s a game of football, it could swing any where, but Kwara are the better side.’

The Afonja Warriors have not lost a home league game since February 2018, and have won the last five; including a 1-0 win over MFM.
