Nigerian Premier League side, Remo Stars suffered a slim defeat in their CAF Champions League first-leg, Preliminary round match against Medeama SC.

Remo Stars lost 1-0 to Ghanaian Champions, Medeama in Cape Coast, on Sunday.

Jonathan Sowah grabbed the only goal of the game in the 21st minute to condemn the NPL side to a must-win .second leg match.

The Ghanaian champions hold a slender lead ahead of the second leg in Ikenne next Sunday.

To qualify Gbenga Ogunbodede’s side must win at least 2-0 in front of their home supporters.
