Ahead of Leicester City’s upcoming match against Birmingham City, manager Enzo Maresca sheds light on the pivotal role played by Wilfred Ndidi in the squad.

Ndidi, renowned for his versatility, has seamlessly transitioned between defensive and attacking midfield duties throughout the current season, bolstering the Foxes’ performance on the field.

Maresca elaborates on Ndidi’s strategic importance, stating, “We try to press on the opposite side every time he [Ndidi’s] playing more forward. But off the ball he’s also a big weapon for us, because when we press higher, he helps us to recover the ball.”
