Coach Manu Garba is confident his team will beat host Niger in Wednesday’s semi-final clash at the WAFU B 2019 U-17 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying tournament.
Speaking to brila.net ahead of the clash, stated that his players needs to put more balls on the ground even though his strikers are scoring goals.
The Golden Eaglets started the competition on a poor note, losing 3-2 against Burkina Faso but defeated Cote d’Ivoire 5-1 in their second game to finish top of Group B.
Garba who also revealed that his aim is to build a team that will stand the taste of time remains confident of subduing his opponent.
Ghana will take on Cote d’Ivoire in the second semi-final at the Seyni Koutnche Stadium, Niamey also on Wednesday.
The winners of the competition will progress to the 2019 U-17 Africa Cup of Nations in Tanzania.
