Flowers and chocolates were not enough for Mother’s Day on Sunday, as Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford had other ideas.

The 20-year-old Rashford had starred against Liverpool a day earlier and decided to give a gift like no other.

Rashford took to Instagram to show off the Man of the Match award from English football’s biggest fixture, before handing it over to his mother as a gesture of affection.

Sharing an image of himself and his mother, Melanie, holding the Premier League award, Marcus wrote: “Thank you for all you do. Happy Mother’s Day Mum, perfect present!”

In the heated clash at Old Trafford, the English youngster had hit the back of the net twice within the opening 25minutes.
