The 42-year-old Lagos born tactician told www.brila.net in an exclusive interview that one of his ambitions is to coach his country, and he believed that the opportunity to serve at any level will come at the right time.

“I’m not disappointed, I know one day I will be called if I continue to do well, to be sincere, I came to Nigeria for a national team job, but I know I won’t get it like that, so I have to come in the local league to let them see what I can do because I don’t like people fronting for me.” he told www.brila.net.

“I’ve been here for four seasons and people have an evaluation of what I can do, so if one day, they think I am useful for the U20, U-23 and the Super Eagles job no problem.

” I know they have my record and I have to continue doing well,” he told www.brila.net.

Henry Makinwa has guided ABS FC of Ilorin, Abia Warriors in the Nigerian professional football league, before arriving his current team Katsina United FC.
