Nigerian goalkeeper, Maduka Okoye was in action for Udinese on Monday as they came from two goals down to secure a 3-2 away victory against Parma in the Italian Serie A.
This win sees Udinese move to the top of the Serie A table with 10 points after four games.
Parma took an early lead through Enrico Del Prato just two minutes into the game, and Ange Bonny doubled the advantage in the 43rd minute.
However, Udinese launched a comeback after halftime, with Lorenzo Lucca scoring in the 49th minute to pull one back.
French forward Florian Thauvin then equalized before grabbing the winning goal after Parma’s Mandela Keita was sent off in the 73rd minute.
This is Okoye’s fourth appearance for Udinese this season.
Earlier in the year, he was named the club’s Player of the Month for February.
Maduka Okoye was on the bench for the Nigeria’s recent Africa Cup of Nations 2025 qualifiers against Benin Republic and Rwanda.
