Super Eagles goalkeeper Maduka Okoye has resumed training with his club Sparta Rotterdam on Thursday.
The 20-year-old goalkeeper was spotted with some officials while working at the club Eredivisie side training ground.
Maduka joined Sparta Rotterdam this month after turning down a new contract from German Bundesliga side Fortuna Düsseldorf.
He signed three years contract with the club with the option of another two years should he impress the management.
The Super Eagles shot-stopper is expected to challenge for the number spot when the new campaign begins in September 2020.
The Dutch football federation said in June that the 2020-21 season will start on September 12, following the government’s decision to ease coronavirus restrictions.
Dutch authorities announced four weeks ago that football stadiums can re-open their doors to fans from July, but only under conditions including a mandatory 1.5 metre (five feet) distance between occupied seats.
The Eredivisie in April became the first top European league to be called off due to the coronavirus pandemic. No team was declared champions after Ajax and AZ Alkmaar were left level on points at the top of the table.
