Okoye has joined Udinese on a 4-year deal, bringing an end to his turbulent time with the Hornets. His move from Watford was confirmed, Friday morning, and was unveiled almost immediately. The goalkeeper becomes the latest Nigerian player to sign for both club sides after Odion Ighalo, William Troost-Ekong and Isaac Success. Okoye joined Watford from Sparta Rotterdam in 2022, but only managed to make just three appearance for the English side. The 23-year-old made an appearance each in the Championship, FA and League Cup.
