Former coach of Nigeria’s women’s national team Super Falcons Ismaila Mabo has blamed the continuous absence of the Super Falcons on the Nigeria Football Federation stressing that missing back-to-back Olympic games in the women’s Football events attest clearly to this.
Mabo speaking in a chat with www.brila.net stressed that the Football governing body in Nigeria has failed successively to have missed three straight Olympic games for the Women national team alongside struggling at the world cup compared to his time when the team got to the quarter-final of the world cup as well as the women’s Olympics Football events.
“The NFF isn’t treating the Super Falcons well and that’s the truth about it. In the past, the Super Falcons go far in every competition either the world cup or the Olympics. In the past, the NFF will prepare Super Falcons adequately putting the Super Falcons into periodic camping.”
