The last hasn’t been heard about Terem Moffi’s transfer from Lorient to OGC Nice.
Lorient president, Loic Fery is unhappy with how the deal panned out, expressing displeasure with the how Nice conducted itself in the whole process.
Fery revealed the club had accepted offers from Marseille and West Ham United, only for Nice to turn the player’s head.
“We had accepted an offer from Marseille and another from West Ham which were within our parameters. When you close the door, you have to know how to hear it,” Féry said to L’euipe.
“There, Nice continued to solicit our player, even if there was no agreement. He was very unsettled. ”
Moffi scored 12 goals in 18 league appearances for Lorient and moved to Nice on loan with an option to make the deal permanent at the end of the season.
Nice are expected to pay €30m for the striker in summer.
