Lorient manager Christophe Pelissier has confirmed that Super Eagles forward Terem Moffi is closing to returning to full fitness.
Terem Moffi picked up an injury while playing for the Club in Ligue one against Clermont earlier this month and he has been sidelined since.
The injury forced him out of Nigeria squad for the FIFA World Cup qualifying games against the Central African Republic.
Speaking on Terem Moffi’s fitness, Christophe Pelissier, says he expecting the striker to return this week.
“Terem Moffi is expected in training soon, and a point will be made at that time, according to his feelings after his shoulder injury,” Lorient manager Christophe Pélissier told Actufoot.
Pélissier’s side will face Olympique Marseille on Sunday and it remains unclear if Moffi will be in top shape for the game.
The player enjoyed a successful debut campaign with Lorient last season as he scored 16 goals in all competitions. He has scored twice at the ongoing campaign as well.
