Atalanta winger Ademola Lookman has expressed his admiration for Senegalese football icon Sadio Mane, revealing his aspirations to learn from the esteemed player.

Lookman stated Mane as his ideal role model, aiming to glean valuable insights from the seasoned athlete’s success
and skill.

Mane, celebrated as one of Africa’s greatest footballers and renowned for his achievements on the
global stage.

“The guy who I always looked at the most would have to be Sadio Mane,” Lookman told the The Athletics.

“Looking at his threat in the box, his threat in those little tight spaces, his movement — I have watched a lot of his game in particular.”

Lookman is gradually becoming player for Atalanta, and on the international stage with Nigeria.

The talented winger played a pivotal role in Nigeria’s journey to the 2023 AFCON final, contributing three crucial goals and two assists along the way.

Meanwhile, in the Serie A Lookman has been a key asset for Atalanta, boasting an impressive record of eight goals and four assists in 24 matches.
