Super Eagles’ forward Ademola Lookman has been named Atalanta’s Player of the Season.

This is the second consecutive year that the Nigerian international has received this honor.

Lookman, 26, delivered an impressive performance last season, scoring 11 goals and providing eight assists in 31 appearances across all competitions for La Dea.

His exceptional form culminated in a historic hat-trick against Bayer Leverkusen in the UEFA Europa League final, ending Atlanta’s six decades European trophy drought.

With his achievements last season, Lookman has emerged as a leading contender to succeed Victor Osimhen as the CAF Player of the Year.
