Ademola Lookman has expressed his pride in being named the CAF Player of the Year, joining an illustrious list of African football legends.
The Nigeria international, who enjoyed a stellar year with both Atalanta and the Super Eagles, was crowned Africa’s Best Player at the CAF Awards ceremony in Marrakech, Morocco, on Monday night.
Lookman succeeds fellow Nigerian Victor Osimhen as the award’s latest recipient.

“For us to be able to give inspiration to the young kids who want to be like us is the most important thing.
