Atalanta’s Nigerian winger, Ademola Lookman has been named the club’s Player of the Month for May and June, reflecting his outstanding form on the field.

The announcement came on Wednesday evening, celebrating the Nigerian’s contributions to Atalanta’s run.

Lookman’s impressive run included scoring seven goals in his last five games, capped by a historic hat-trick in the Europa League final.

In that final, he delivered a masterclass, completing four successful dribbles, winning eight ground duels, earning three fouls, providing two key passes, and taking three shots.

His performance was further highlighted by three shots on target and three goals, earning him a perfect 10.0 rating.

Lookman became the first player to score a hat-trick in a Europa League final, cementing his place in the competition’s history.

Following his Europa League heroics, Lookman continued his scoring streak with a goal in the subsequent league match against Fiorentina, underscoring his invaluable contribution to Atalanta’s campaign.
