Bayern Munich is eyeing Nigerian winger Ademola Lookman as a potential transfer target ahead of coming season.

According to Sky Sports transfer expert Florian Plettenberg, Bayern Munich are impressed with Lookman’s development.

With Kingsley Coman struggling for form and fitness, Lookman is seen as a suitable replacement.

The Bavarians have had initiated discussions with Atalanta about the possibility of signing the Nigeria international.

Lookman, 26, is under contract with Atalanta for another two years and is valued between €25-30 million.

The winger has had a standout season, notably scoring a hat-trick in Atalanta’s Europa League final victory against Bayer Leverkusen.

He concluded the 2023/24 season with an impressive tally of 17 goals and eight assists under the guidance of coach Gian Piero Gasperini.

He had a brief spell in German with RB Leipzig.
