Tamara Ezekiel has assured Lobi Stars supporters that the club will be ready to challenge for the Nigerian professional football league and the Aiteo Cup next season.
Lobi Stars narrowly missed out on a continental ticket last season, but Tamara is confident the club is working hard to deliver their objectives for the new season.
“We are going to challenge for everything on the home front, we want to win the title and also return to the continent. ” He told brila.net.
Following the exit of Gbenga Ogunbote, Lobi Stars has hired former Nasarawa United and Sunshine Stars coach Kabir Dogo, to thinker the team next season. Tamara opined that the club couldn’t have hired anyone better.
“He’s a very good coach, we couldn’t have gone for anyone better.
“He has the experience and he’s one of best in the league, so his profile fits the club ” he concluded.
Meanwhile, the date for the resumption of the new NPFL season is still unknown, after the President of Nigeria Football Federation Amaju Pinnick said they are waiting for necessary permissions from Health authorities, the Federal Ministry of Youth & Sports.
