Liverpool will put in bid for Napoli striker Victor Osimhen who could be available for €120m.

Liverpool’s Premier League rivals ManchesterUnited, and Chelsea have also been linked with Osimhen, who scored 31 goals in 39 games for Napoli last season.

French Champions Paris Saint-Germain, German giants Bayern Munich and fourteen time European Champions Real Madrid are also said to be interested in the Nigerian.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Liverpool have now joined the race and are ready to submit a bid for the forward.

The reports also suggest Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is not convinced Darwin Nunez can lead the Reds attack after his underwhelming debut season at Anfield.

However, Napoli values Osimhen more than €150m and it could be a stumbling block as Liverpool aren’t competing in the money spinning UEFA Champions League next season.

Osimhen, 24, joined Napoli from Lille in summer 2020 for €70m and has scored 59 goals in 101 appearances in all competitions since then.
