Liverpool Sign Rinsola Babajide From Watford

Nigerian-born England female youth international striker, Rinsola Babajide has moved over to Liverpool’s female team from Watford Ladies.

Babajide, who has been on the radar of the NFF, for a call up to the national team, Super Falcons, said she is happy to make the switch.

It is a major leap forward for her, after making headlines at home and abroad with 14 goals for the soccer team of University of East London against University College, London in 2016.

Before joining Watford, Babajide had stops at Millwall Lionesses Ladies and Crystal Palace Ladies, but is now eager to get another haul of marks with The Reds’ ladies.

Babajide said: “I am absolutely delighted to be joining a club as big as Liverpool Ladies and cannot wait to get started.

“This is a huge opportunity for me to make the step up to FA WSL1 and I am really excited to meet my new teammates.”
